STEP 1
is a big decision and commitment. It can be life-changing. Having gone through the processes of being a first-time homebuyer all the way to an investor-buyer myself, I know that first and foremost, buyers need one thing - to be truly heard and understood.
If you want a beach lifestyle, but want a slightly more suburban versus country feel, Kailua might be a better fit than Haleiwa for you. If you want a country feel but don't want to be an hour away from town, Waimanalo might be a better fit versus Hauula. I was born and raised on O'ahu which grants me the knowledge and understanding of this place. I'm able to give my buyers the best options for the home that can give them the lifestyle they seek.
My buyers receive specific and comprehensive resources that will explain each step of their journey to them which I then explain more in depth. Sometimes it's nice having information you can access any time you need it.
Need a plumber, roofer, painter, drywaller, electrician, mason, stager, interior designer, property manager, general contractor, home inspector, termite inspector, solar rep, architect, landscaper, glazer, glass polisher, woodworker, wood finisher? My extensive network of all types of professionals that work within the real estate realm has been an invaluable resource for my clients.
WHAT TO EXPECT
STEP 1
We will meet and discuss every aspect of what you are looking for in a property. We'll talk lifestyle, practicality, and affordability. If you aren't already pre-approved, we'll begin that process.
STEP 2
Once we determine and agree we are a good fit for each other, I begin researching on your behalf based on our discussions.
STEP 3
By day 3 or sooner, we should have a list of properties to view based on what purchase price you may qualify for. Showings and open house visits get planned. You'll be able to physically see what you could potentially be purchasing very soon!
STEP 4
This may happen right after you see "the one" or may not happen until much later. Once we have an accepted offer, we enter escrow.
STEP 5
Escrow typically lasts anywhere from 30-45 days, but may differ. During escrow, we accomplish things like your home and termite inspections, review things like a survey, condo documents, building permits, etc. If you have a mortgage, your lender will be working closely with us as well. There are a number of items both the seller and buyer must accomplish during escrow.
CLOSING
Once we get recording clearance from escrow, you are officially the owner of your new home, and it's time to celebrate your latest accomplishment!
With my in-depth knowledge of O'ahu, understanding of the real estate market, and far-sighted approach, I'll match you with the best property for your desired lifestyle and guide you through to a successful closing.
